ACTIONS: Acetaminophen is an effective analgesic - antipyretic. Acetaminophen is rapidly and almost completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The elimination half-life is 1.25 - 3 hours. The drug is metabolized in the liver and excreted by the kidneys.
